Go Green World Festival 2019, Portland’s first bilingual and multicultural sustainability event, will be held at Oaks Park on Sunday, September 15th. Come join us for a day of dancing, performers, engaging speakers, educational demonstrations, interactive games, and tasty food samples from some of the city’s most sustainable companies. The goal of the Festival is to raise awareness around important environmental issues such as, global warming, pollution, species extinction, carbon footprint, intensive farming. We hope to achieve this by offering engaging educational activities and providing festival goers with information and tools they can use immediately to help make the planet more sustainable. Throughout the day you will hear speakers sharing on many topics including, corporate sustainability, renewable energy, reducing waste, plant-based diets, minimalist living and much, much more. Go Green World Fest hopes to bridge the educational gap that often impacts our full understanding of how personal decisions have a global impact. Please join us for a fun and educational event that will help you be better prepared to go out and build a more sustainable planet life for many generations to come.
